Time is saved and vehicle identification accuracy is ensured
by use of the The FastTrak Auto Shop Manager/BMW Keyreader interface. When a BMW key is inserted into the keyreader, by accessing the information from the keyreader system, FastTrak can retrieve the vehicle VIN number and odometer reading. If the vehicle is new, FastTrak will interpret the VIN number and identify the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle. A new repair order or quote can be created with the information read from the keyreader or the odometer reading on an existing repair order can be updated. This improves efficiency, ensures accuracy and enhances customer relations.
