FastTrak Wireless
Service Advisor allows an order to be taken from the customer at the car. A
handheld device is used to scan the VIN number on the vehicle and the odometer
reading and remaining information can be entered on the spot. The data is then
transmitted to the FastTrak database and an RO is generated.

VIN
Number Scan
FastTrak Wireless Service Advisor uses a
portable handheld device with a built in barcode scanner that allows the VIN
number to be read electronically eliminating the need to hand write it and key
it in after the fact. This guarantees the accuracy of the VIN and reduces
manual work.
On
The Spot Order Taking
FastTrak Wireless Service Advisor allows an order
to be taken at the vehicle. Once the VIN number is scanned and/or the license
plate entered, FastTrak determines if the vehicle/customer exist in the
database. If so, the entire order can be taken in just a few steps right at the
vehicle. If the customer has an appointment with tasks and approval specified
the only required entry is the odometer reading. The handheld program will
prompt for previous recommendations and preventive maintenance requirements so
they can be discussed and added to the RO while there with the customer. The
approval can be given by the customer on the spot and an approved RO will be
created in the FastTrak database. The need to hand write information and
rekey it later can be eliminated by use of the Wireless Service Advisor
program.
Vehicle
Damage Marks
FastTrak Wireless Service Advisor provides the
ability to easily record vehicle damage marks. A vehicle picture is presented
on the handheld screen and the user can use the touch screen to indicate damage
marks. These damage marks are stored electronically in FastTrak and when the
vehicle estimate is printed, the picture of the vehicle with the damage marks
is printed for acknowledgement by the customer.
