At
A Glance Parts Status
The FastTrak Parts Management Console allows easy
recognition of the overall parts status of all open repair orders in the
system. The primary screen displays each RO with a color coded repair order
status as well as a color coded parts status so the manager can easily
recognize when action needs to be taken.
Manage
From One Screen
The primary Parts Management Console Screen
displays all parts for a given RO on one screen. Each part has a color coded
status making it is easy to determine whether a specific part requires action
to be taken. The parts can be sourced and priced, issued from stock, ordered,
and received all directly from the primary parts management screen. Pricing and
markups are calculated dynamically according to the appropriate mark up matrix
and profit margins are calculated real time and displayed as changes are made.
Stock
Parts Orders
FastTrak provides for Purchase Orders to be
generated for stock parts. The PO can be generated and faxed or emailed as an
attachment to the supplier. If a parts order is placed in this manner, it can
be received directly into inventory when the parts are delivered.
Converts
Unit Of Measure
FastTrak provides for inventory to be purchased in
one unit of measure and stocked/sold in another. For instance oil can be
purchased in gallons but when it's received against a PO it will be converted
to quarts when inventory balances are updated
Parts
Inventory
FastTrak Parts Inventory functions are accessible
via Master File Maintenance or through the Parts Management Console. This
inventory subsystem provides for management of on hand stock parts. Parts can
be counted and input in a number ways including by classification, brand, or
location. On hand inventory balance and valuation reports can be generated
using the same selection functions and aging reports are available to support
management of inventory movement rates. Also, an inventory transaction history
is available for inquiry. Each time a transaction occurs that affects inventory
balances, a transaction record is written that includes the affect on inventory
for the part, the date and time, and the type of activity (RO issue, inventory
count, counter ticket, etc.). These tools provide a strong tool for managing
stock inventory parts.
