FastTrak Master File
Maintenance is an application that allows updates to the information that is
for the most part static and doesn't change very frequently. Information such
as discounts, payment terms, parts, and canned jobs can be maintained through
this program.

FastTrak allows for the system to be tailored to
the individual shop. Information such as document heading text, email settings,
shop schedule, etc are entered here.
Address
Master
The Address Master file contains all addresses in
the system. Each company or person in the address file, can be specified as
being a customer, vendor, employee or all three. This eliminates the need to
enter the same information more than once in the event that an employee brings
their vehicle in for work and they become a customer or when the company shares
sublet work with another shop and they become both a vendor and a customer.
Each address can contain a web site link primarily used for suppliers and an
email address. If an email address is entered for a customer, documents such as
estimates and invoices can be sent directly to them from FastTrak.
Description
File
The description file is used to enter various types
of information that are used in drop down lists throughout the system such as
phone number types, part brands, etc. There is no limit to the number of any
specific type of description
Part
Master File
The Part Master File is included in the Master File
Maintenance application. Parts can be set up and maintained here and
inventory count and update options are accessible from this screen.
Company
Defaults
The company set up and defaults are accessible via
Address Master Maintenance. Here information such as the default labor rate,
sales tax rate, default discount and payment terms for new customers are
maintained.
